Hi all . The U13 are away at Twycross

in the LYCL League . the match should start as near to 6pm as possible and so we will meet at the Griff House Hotel car park and leave at 5.15pm. Match Report Vs Newbold

At last a match has been played but though we lostwe had 4 players playing a competetive match for the first time . Nathan won the toss and we bowled first . harry and george opened and we struggled from one end into the wind. all the kids bowled at least two overs and we took a couple of wickets through george and joseph with the aid of a good catch by harry. when we batted we paired a new player with an older head . kyle and nathan batted well , with nathan scoring 5 runs . connor and brandon were next and struggled a bit but they will both get a lot better this season. george and joe we next and though joe didnt score george hit 3 fours top scoring with 15 runs and they ran well . harry and Will were last H scoring 10 with 2 fours and Will 6 with a boundary.Geroge was the first winner of the 2012 player of the match trophy

We will meet Wolvey Pavillion leaving at 5.30 , then meeting anyone who wants to meet at the Royal Redgate pub on the A5 / A444 junction at 5.45 and then onto the ground arriving at 5.50 pm.
